There's an easier way to go about it, and that is to not just target the girls you like but to be open and friendly and talk with everyone. If women see you standing around talking and laughing with friends, men and women, they will view you as approachable and if one is interested, she won't hesitate to join in the discussion. It's a much more organic way to meet people.
